Join us for a wide-ranging conversation on the festival theme and more as Gento Kono—often nicknamed the “God Brain” for his remarkable academic achievements—shares his life story and approach to learning. Gento Kono

While enrolled in the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Medicine, he passed the bar exam on his first attempt. He also passed the National Medical Licensing Examination and the Certified Public Accountant exam, completing Japan’s three major national qualifications. He is the CEO of Stardy, Inc. and head of the online prep school “Kono Juku.” His YouTube channel “Stardy — Gento Kono’s Divine Lessons” has over 1.6 million subscribers.

Participation Guidelines

  • This event uses a numbered-ticket system, and all seats are reserved.
  • Tickets are available for the first 672 attendees and distribution ends once they run out.
  • The queue will form from 9:30 AM on the north side of Building 63 (Nishi-Waseda Campus).
  • Ticket distribution begins at 10:00 AM (it may start earlier depending on crowd conditions).
  • Please follow staff instructions during distribution.
  • Entry times are staggered by ticket number.
  • No re-entry once admitted.
