After a long period of corona disaster, this year's exhibition will finally be held with an emphasis on face-to-face interaction, as restrictions due to infectious disease countermeasures have been removed. At the university, we emphasize experimental education and hands-on experience in the field, and we are keenly aware that “touching, moving, and experiencing things” is the most important. This year's Rikoten will also feature a robot festival, experiments, and Esports, as well as stage performances and other events that are typical of a school festival. For students preparing for entrance examinations, counseling for entrance examinations and higher education, and tours of the campus and laboratories will also be held. Lectures by university faculty members and a walk rally project on campus have also been prepared. The official Rikoten app, 'AppRiko', will reproduce the Nishi-Waseda campus in a virtual space, allowing visitors to get to know Waseda through their avatars. Visitors can fully enjoy the Science & Engineering Exhibition even if they come online. Finally, the theme of this year's Science & Engineering Exhibition is “PRISM. It expresses the variety of personalities and thoughts of the people involved in the exhibition and the glamour of the exhibition as an event.
